Preston at War 1916 to 1918

Women's Land Army procession on North Road, 22 June 1918

Stairway Exhibition
From 23 July 2016

This exhibition explores the impact of the First World War on Preston and is displayed alongside the Preston First World War Roll of Honour.

Eyewitness accounts, photographs and film reveal the remarkable stories of the homecoming of Preston’s VC, local industry and the vital role of women on the home front.

This exhibition is being re-displayed following its popular run between October 2015 and April 2016.
