Lubaina Himid

Lubaina Himid, Hannibal's Sister, 1989

February - April 2018

We are delighted to be showing a large scale exhibition of the work of Turner Prize nominee 2017 and Preston-based artist Professor Lubaina Himid MBE.  The Harris has had a long relationship with Lubaina, showing her work on a number of occasions including most recently Moments that Matter (2012).

If you can't wait to see Lubaina's work on show at the Harris, drop in to our fine art galleries where you can see Hannibal's Sister (above, 1989) from our permanent collection. You can read an article from The Guardian about Lubaina here.

Look out for more information about this exhibition coming soon.
