Helen McGhie - Identity Crisis

Swimming Pool by Helen McGhie

Stairway exhibition
18 April - 7 July
Helen McGhie’s photographs explore ideas surrounding identity and sense of place. She is intrigued by photography’s ability to shape and emphasise reality.

The exhibition included Ashley House from 2008, a series of photographs documenting relationships with a place and family, alongside more recent works Desserts, 2011-12 and Ego Entertainment, 2012, which investigated identity and appearance.
