The Harris Transformers are a group of creative and passionate young people that meet at the Harris each week to collaborate and creatively respond to the Harris and its collections. Working with curators, historians, artists, digital creators and designers and thinking critically about the building, its stories, memories and heritage, the Harris Transformers have produced artwork for their first project since securing Heritage Lottery Funding.

Themed around the idea of 'A Love Note to Preston' the history and heritage of the city is celebrated with a series of site specific artworks including projection pieces, audio recordings, installations, workshops and more.

The Harris Transformers is a new programme to increase youth engagement with the Harris as it develops its Re-imagining the Harris project and is delivered by Blaze and based at Curious Minds. Blaze is a youth-led organisation with a track record of work across Lancashire developing the next generation of cultural producers, leaders and artists.
