After successfully securing funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Harris Transformers group is running again with a new group of young people eager to help transform the Harris.

The group will meet at the Harris each week to collaborate and share ideas with curators, historians, artists, digital creators and designers, culminating in an exciting and innovative festival and exhibition, taking place on Sunday 8 July.

Themed around the idea of 'A Love Note to Preston', the exhibition celebrates the history and heritage of the city. The group will also be working with a light projection company to create a light display that will transform the Harris like never before. This will be available to view on the Flag Market from 10pm.
The Harris Transformers is a new programme to increase youth engagement with the Harris as it develops its Re-imagining the Harris project and is delivered by Blaze and based at Curious Minds. Blaze is a youth-led organisation with a track record of work across Lancashire.

With the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund this project is developing the next generation of cultural producers, leaders and artists.
