Comics: Autism Friendly Hour

Autism friendly hour will happen outside of normal visiting times when the gallery will be closed to other visitors so you can explore the COMICS exhibition in your own way.




What time? 10am -11am    

For ages? Under 16s and their parent/guardians

Places are limited so please give total numbers visiting when enquiring.

Description: COMICS is on the 2nd floor and accessible by stairs and a lift. We guarantee that the only people in the gallery space will be those that have booked, our staff and volunteers. There are no flashing lights or strobe effects in the exhibition and sound effects will be turned down for the hour - spare ear defenders will also be available. There is a resource area inside the exhibition with activities to play with and an optional activity led by trained staff. One of the other galleries on the 2nd floor will be available as a quieter, softer area. You are welcome to stay after the autism friendly hour finishes and when the galleries are open to other visitors.
